Andrew A. Mazzara Named As Board Chair of Laptop Design USA, LLC

DETROIT, Michigan (October 3, 2005)  Andrew A. Mazzara, Ph.D., president of Henry Ford Community College (HFCC), has been named as board chairman for Laptop Design USA, LLC.  The Dearborn-based company was recently launched to brand laptop computers with companies and organizations’ proprietary colors, trademarks and logos.

“I’ll be retiring from HFCC at the end of this year, and it’s the right time to seek out new and exciting opportunities,” said Dr. Mazzara.  “I’m extremely impressed with the unique service that Laptop Design offers its customers, and the team of resources that they’ve put together.”

Dr. Mazzara will assume the new position as board chairman on January 1, 2006.
